Bluegrass Backcountry, LLC is a Louisville, KY based outfitter and guide service offering sailing instruction and private charter on the Ohio River. We pride ourselves on flexibility and client-oriented service. We make sure that everyone gets a great experience while learning the 'ropes.'

BB Sailing also offers trip planning assistance to those who wish to charter in waters more tropical than those on the Ohio River. We can help with some of the vagarities associated with a first time bareboat charter. We have a skilled logisitics aspect of this service, with vast experience provisioning boats for few up to many. Our staff is experienced in the Florida Keys, Bahamas, and French, British, and Dutch West Indies

Marc Crutcher

Marc Crutcher has taught sailing in many different locations on many different boats, from The Leeward Islands, to the Florida Keys, and now here on the Ohio. He also races constantly travelling a yearly circuit from Key West to Chicago. Come join Marc for a sail and enjoy the time!
